A BIG Production Company -

(BIG – meaning; Beauty is Great), was founded by Maria Camille in 1995.  The Company launched with a magazine publication called Dateline Beauty, which became Cosmetic Surgery News.  Within a few years, the magazine became a news magazine TV show called The Beauty Show.  The Beauty Show covered the latest news, treatments and trends within the beauty industry.  The Show aired for over eight years on Comcast, ION, ABC, Web TV and in-flight airline programming.

Over the years, key people came to work and partner with us, which has now formed into the special company we are today.

With the accumulated time we now have in working with beauty companies, destination spa resorts, and cosmetic surgery markets, it is a natural progression for us to recognize new markets and opportunities.

As Maria Camille started traveling and working within China for both the TV and beauty industry starting in 2003, she saw the beginning and growth of China’s luxury and beauty industry markets. Camille realized this tremendous new growth would offer beauty industry companies in the U.S. wonderful new opportunities. Now, after several years of putting details in place, we can offer U.S. and Canadian beauty companies an easy access into the biggest buyers market in the world – China.  And, concurrently, we have started a travel – beauty blog within China to bring awareness to new Chinese travelers about our spa and wellness destination resorts in the U.S.

For a little overview on how large this market is, the beauty industry in China is the 5th largest economy sector which is growing by approximately 35% a year.  In China, there are 420 million women between the ages of 19 – 57 – this is more women than in all of the U.S., Japan and Europe combined.

And, on the other side of the coin, the travel industry is the 4th largest economy sector growing exponentially as the middle and upper class levels are gaining momentum within China.

Our niche will always stay within the beauty, spa travel and prestige sectors.  We have paved the way, and we look forward to work with companies who have the insight to expand into the Asian market.
